Inspired by | Anthea Hamilton

I'm currently taking a furniture design class through Central Saint Martin's in London. While procrastinating from 'homework,' I ended up down a rabbit hole about British artists and came across this amazing woman. Anthea Hamilton, only 40 years old, is the first black woman to create a commission at the Tate Modern's Duveen Galleries in London.

Her work ranges from paintings and sculptures to set and costume design. It feels both playful and thoughtful. I love coming across serious artists that don't take their work all too seriously. Some of my favorite below.
